Welcome to the demo CDR Trader minisite!
The source code for this site is 100% opensource and is developed in the spirit of sharing which the music trading community enjoys. You'll need a PHP enabled server and access to mySQL to run the scripts and only a beginner's knowledge of both to get it up and running. Feel free to share it as long as credit is given when it's due. Feedback is always appreciated - please send me an email to let me where the scripts are being used. Email support is available if required.
Want to use the CDR Trader scripts but don't know php and mysql then drop me a line. I can help you install the scripts on your webserver via ftp. Once installed, all maintenance can be achieved via http using html forms.
The CDR Trader has a number of features. These include the ability to add a hyperlink to the CDR record allowing other traders to learn more about the recording. Also, there's the ability to add a hyperlink to a uploaded text file giving track information and any recording notes.
Administrators have the choice of either using a star rating or a conventional alphabet rating system for both artistic performance and sound quality. Also, administrators can create and modify all records in the database with ease by using conventional web forms. Further, you can keep your site upto date by posting as many blogs as you wish.
